Kevin van der Voort who is the son of 'The Dutch Destroyer' Vincent van der Voort will make his debut in the PDC this weekend playing in the European Development Tour.
Van der Voort, 19, will travel to Niedernhausen with his good friend, Youri Brouwer with both working in Dartshop Zaanstad, the shop owned by his father.
He has played at the Eredivisie level (top league) in the past with his regional team Dartbond Zaanstreek Purmerend (DBZP) and will hope to make similar strides to his father.
Last week, a son of another well-known darts player made his PDC debut. Mason Whitlock, son of Simon Whitlock, participated in several tournaments on the UK Development Tour.
