Michael van Gerwen is through to the World Grand Prix final after breezing past Chris Dobey as he aims for back to back titles on the Emerald Isle.
Van Gerwen will take on Dave Chisnall, a familiar adversary and one he has a great record against and he said that it feels phenomenal to get this far and that it's a great feeling when you play well and get the rewards.
He also gave credit to Dobey saying that he had nothing to lose after playing so well but that it was difficult for him against Mighty Mike.
"It feels phenomenal to be in the final," said Van Gerwen. "I love this tournament and it's a great feeling when you play well and reach the final.
"Chris has done so well this week but I kept him under pressure. He had nothing to lose and has got a lot of talent, but it was difficult for him tonight.
"I think I did the right things at the right moments, like the 156 to win the second set. It wasn't as easy as the score would say and I can improve, so I have to prepare myself right for the final."
