Ross Smith at the 2023 Masters received his PDC Award for Best Televised Performance of the Year, an accolade he didn't know he was getting and was unveiled under a cloth by 'Smudger'.
This was for his win over Michael Smith in the European Championship final late last year.
"I'm speechless that's amazing. I'm well happy, I wasn't expecting that in a million years," said Smith to PDC.
"I feel that I can beat anybody that's never been the issue, it's always been the consistency barrier of doing it game after game. I feel like I cracked that. I deserved to win it at the end of the day."
