Michael van Gerwen was sat at 2-2 waiting to win the match and took aim at 121 but received ultimate karma in a match which has delivered a true World Darts Championship classic.
Van Gerwen declined a dart at the bullseye to win it thinking Mensur Suljovic wouldn't hit the 161.
