Phil Taylor was once again facing off against Martin Adams in the first iteration of the MODUS Champions Series and nearly produced a nine-dart finish in their tie.
Taylor claimed victory over Adams with a 111 average and ‘The Power’ smashed in two 180’s. When the seventh and eighth dart went in, it looked like the ninth would but he went just inside only to lose the leg to ‘Wolfie’.
