James Wade and Nathan Aspinall are the final players through to the final day at the International Darts Open in Riesa from the afternoon session.
Wade produced a vintage display seeing off Vincent van der Voort sealing it with a 100 checkout in a 6-4 victory.
'The Machine' hit a high checkout of 127 en route to seeing off the Dutch Destroyer with 55% on the doubles the telling stat as he moves through.
While still by his own admission being hampered by injury and still not having completed his treatment, Aspinall edged past Jeff Smith 6-4.
He averaged 88 with a high checkout of 120 and 50% on his doubles in what was his first match of the season which he managed to win through admirably as he will look to add potentially vital ranking after some time away from the oche.
