Jermaine Wattimena has won the Sapphire Darts Trophy last Sunday in Gevelsberg, Germany. The event was organised by darts-influencer/player Sarah Milkowski and her husband Lukas.
The tournament attracted several well-known players. Four of them also made it to the semi-finals. Former World Darts Championship participants Kevin Münch, Ron Meulenkamp and Rene Eidams reached the quarter finals.
In the last four Wesley Plaisier beat German talent Fabian Schmutzler 4-3. Wattimena took care of Kenny Neyens (4-2). The all-Dutch final was won by Wattimena 5-2.
