Simon Whitlock has been known to be tinkering with his set-up recently and has been going through multiple sets of darts including at the Hungarian Darts Trophy this past weekend.
Whitlock spoke about this and jokingly referred to himself as the new Peter Wright when it came to changing his set-up.
"I'm not actually using my darts right now because I'm still waiting for some new prototypes but it doesn't matter about the darts," said Whitlock to Online Darts.
"I've used a lot of sets lately and I'm becoming the new Peter Wright."
World Cup of Darts
Next up after this past weekend's European Tour will be the World Cup of Darts which he will play with Damon Heta for Australia and he summed up their chances.
"I think we've got as good a chance as anybody I mean we're both on form players, we play very well together. I feel good with Damo, I think we've got a great chance."
"If you don't get on together and don't gel together, it's not going to work."
