Zonneveld daring to dream at World Series of Darts Finals: "If I can go on, then maybe it's possible"

Niels Zonneveld reached his maiden PDC TV Quarter-Final with a superb 6-4 win over Gary Anderson at the World Series of Darts Finals.

Zonneveld spoke afterwards about his admiration for Gary Anderson and how once more the crowd brought him through.

''I can't describe how happy I am, how proud I'm. It's just amazing, no words for it. Gary is a phenomenal player. I think one of the best players ever in darts. I have so much respect for him, but today at my home crowd I think I have achieved something special'', he told Online Darts.

Zonneveld hit an important 120 finish to break Anderson in the ninth leg, before sealing the win with a 102 checkout. ''When the treble 20 went in, that single 20 was one of the hardest darts I have ever thrown. Then the tops went in, just crazy.''

If Zonneveld thinks he can make the final in Amsterdam? ''I go from game to game. Just see what I can do. But if I can go on, then maybe it's possible.''
