13-year-old darting talent wins Belgium Open youth tournament after only playing for six months: 'She is a natural'

Last Sunday the Belgium Open was held. The youth tournament was won by Jana Leys.

Leys also won the Antwerp Open the day before. "It is very nice to win twice in a row, especially since these are only my first tournaments", says the only 13 year old Belgian to Darts Actueel.

"I've only been playing darts for six months," continues Leys. "Winning is fun of course, but the fun is the most important thing for me. And sometimes losing is also part of it."

Natural talent

Leys is assisted by mentor Dirk Allard. "Jana is a real natural. What she can do at her age is incredible, time will tell what she can achieve in the world of darts."
