As the second round heads towards a close, Wednesday afternoon session at the 2022 WDF
Lakeside World Championship sees the lineup close to confirmation.
Thibault Tricole finally gets his campaign underway but could face a tricky test as he faces Shawn Burt who saw off Connor Scutt earlier this week in some style.
Following that the number one seed in the ladies draw takes to the Oche in ‘The Heart of Darts’ herself, Deta Hedman.
She has had a poor run over the years at the Lakeside and Tori Kewish will hope that continues as the Aussie hopes to further her own aspirations at the expense of Hedman.
While to finish proceedings off, Leonard Gates finally takes to the Lakeside stage when he faces off against Steve Hine. ‘Soldier’ is seen as one of the favourites for the title but ‘The Muffin Man’ will look to hand him an early exit.
Followed by two Lakeside stalwarts facing off in Andy Baetens taking on Dave Parletti to conclude the session.
