Van der Voort confident after whitewash win over Cullen: "I know that I can do damage to any player in the world"

Vincent van der Voort whitewashed Joe Cullen in ruthless fashion to set up a second round tie with Gerwyn Price at the World Series of Darts Finals.

Van der Voort spoke after and is confident of his form at the moment and believes he is playing some of the best darts of his life.

"Joe was really struggling and you have to take advantage," said Van der Voort. "The game is brutal and I've done that.

"As long as I'm playing well I know that I can do damage to any player in the world. It's all about me. I'm playing better than I have for a long time but I have to prepare myself."

"To play in front of a crowd makes you feel really good. People love coming to darts and I think people are blessed to be here."
