Beaton relaxed ahead of Cross tie after seeing off Whitlock in World Series of Darts Finals opener: "The biggest hurdle was the first round"

Steve Beaton will face off against Rob Cross on Saturday night after defeating Simon Whitlock to conclude the first night of the World Series of Darts Finals.

Beaton will fancy his chances against Cross who has not been in the best form and has admitted he is now relaxed after getting through the first hurdle.

"I'm looking forward to playing Rob because the biggest hurdle was the first round," said Beaton.

"I can relax now and play my game. "It's funny to be back in front of a crowd and it will be great tomorrow."
