Richie Howson sealed revenge over Robert Thornton for the World Seniors Darts Championship final defeat with a 10-6 win with an 82 average.
Howson will now face David Cameron in the semi-finals in Blackpool on Sunday and now has his sights set on winning the title at VIVA! after getting one over 'The Thorn'.
"It's hard going on the first game especially of a new tournament playing the World Champion and I finally got one over him. I'm so happy to get through to the next round," said Howson to Online Darts.
"I'm here to win it, there's eight players that can all win. They are all absolute legends and I don't like to say I'm going to win it because you don't know but I'm here to win it and I believe I can if I play my game but every game is different so we will see."
