Bennett saw off the likes of Connor Hopkins of Wales, Luke van der Kwast of the Netherlands and then faced off against Jurjen van der Velde also of the Netherlands who is of course the current JDC World Youth Champion.
This meant it was a battle of two World Youth Champions with 'Boom Boom', the current BDO one. It was Bennett though who came out on top winning 3-1.
The Dutch team ended up showing their strength in the singles with them having a player in all but one of the Quarter-Finals while there was also double representation alongside Bennett for England with Keelan Kay making it to the latter stages losing 2-1 to Marcel Bus in the end.
