Hogan is currently second after having four wins and two draws but zero defeats from his six games and so is only one point away currently from James Richardson at the top of the standings.
Thompson on the other hand is only two points away with his one defeat separating him from the duo.
'Thommo' has had a great start to life in the
Remote Darts League with four wins, one draw and one defeat so far and was in action also on Monday night so will hope that having the recent match practice will stand him in good stead.
Larry Butler is just behind in fifth and he is also in tonight's line-up with eight points currently after also impressing so far.
Stacey Pace is without any points so far and is in 15th place and she rounds it off.
In the first phase of the Remote Darts League which sees twenty evenings, all participants play against each other once. Four players are involved per night, with each player completing three matches. Matches are best of 10 legs, so a 5-5 draw is possible.
After twenty days of action, the top four in the league will advance to the playoffs, which are scheduled for Monday, June 8.
