With the BDO World Darts Championship not taking place this month due to the organisation’s demise, DartsNews looks back at classic moments and matches throughout January from the showpiece event.
Onto 2009 as our journey through the BDO World Championship continues and two stalwarts of the BDO game faced off in Ted Hankey and Tony O'Shea.
Hankey made it two World titles albeit in less convincing fashion than against Ronnie Baxter with 'The Count' winning a dramatic 7-6 scoreline which lasted just under two and a half hours.
