13 and 16-year-old to face off in Ally Pally for JDC World Title

Lex Paeshuyse and Daniel Stephenson made it to the finals of the JDC World Championship in Gibraltar. This tournament was open to the best darters aged from 10 to 17 years old.
The final is played every year during the World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace. Paeshuyse, a 13-year-old talent from Belgium, made it to the final by beating Ryan Branley (4-2), Jack Nankervis (4-0), Jamie French (4-1), Kendji Steinbach (4-2) and Tergel Khurelkhuu (5-4) during the knockout stages. In all these five matches, the Belgian threw an average above eighty.
His opponent in the final is a 16-year-old boy from England. Stephenson defeated the likes of Benjamin Goddard (4-2), Bradley van der Velden (4-3), Kieran Thompson (4-1), Archie Self (4-3) and Drake Porter (5-2).

- Pathetic. The media attention she would receive at the PDC alone would more than compensate her for the quiet WDF comp. And if she wins a match, which she is more than capable of doing, the attention would go through the roof.
