Owen Bryceland took a big step toward qualifying for the JDC Advanced Tour in 2025 by winning two tournaments on the Foundation Tour in Coventry last weekend.

The 10-year-old talent from Cumbernauld defeated his compatriot and ranking leader Mitchell Lawrie 5-1 in the final of Event 11, before beating England's Jack Howarth 5-4 in the final of Event 12.

The Englishman also recorded the Foundation Tour's highest ever average. In his match at the last sixteen against Joshua Machin, he threw an average of 104.86.

After 12 of the 20 tournaments on the JDC Tour, Lawrie tops the rankings with 49 points. Behind that follows Howarth with 47 points, while Bryceland is third with 34 points. The top four in the rankings will gain entry to the JDC Advanced Tour, a circuit for top talents between the ages of 10 and 17.
