Participation in the MODUS Super Series precious for Eidams: "This stage experience is just worth so much"

Last Saturday René Eidams won the week at the MODUS Super Series. The Cube won 4-3 against Steve Brown after a strong comeback from 0-3.


The participants of this tournament are invited on the one hand, but can also qualify for their participation via ADC.

During the broadcast of the World Matchplay, Eidams was a co-host at DAZN and looked back on this victory in an interview with Elmar Paulke: "I was invited (to participate) to play there. For me it has a very high value because I can play the whole week on stage in the livestream. That stage experience, it's just worth so much. I just take that with me."

Despite his strong comeback the Hagen man is not happy with his performance: "I didn't play my best darts this week but overall I'm doing really well this year and it was enough to get that weekly win there."


Champions Week takes place in a fortnight' time. Eidams is looking forward to that date: "All twelve winners will play against each other and a few flakes will be at stake.
