Rene Eidams "over the moon" after securing spot in champions week on MODUS Super Series

Rene Eidams grabbed the weekly title Saturday night after a comeback during the tenth week of play of the MODUS Super Series in Portsmouth.

"In one sentence I can say, I'm over the moon," a delighted Eidams said in his post-match interview. "For me it's been a really, really great experience here and wow, I feel very good."

"I have not played my best darts this week but it has been enough," continues Eidams, who defeated Steve Brown 4-3 in the final. "The other players are so good and the table was so close. I'm just really, really happy."

"When I was 3-0 down I just thought to myself, 'come on please, throw some darts! Just get one leg and then one more and so on.' I'm really looking forward to champions week. I can't wait to come back here and play."
