Mason Whitlock again showed Thursday night that he can throw a good dart just like his father. The son of pro darter Simon Whitlock managed to throw a nine-dart finish in the MODUS Super Series.
Whitlock threw the nine darter in the third leg of his match against David Wawrzewski. He started the leg with two 180 scores and then managed to end the leg with a 141 finish. It landed him a hug from his opponent Wawrzewski.
Later in the evening, Whitlock was very close to repeating his feat. In his match against Bram van Dijk, Whitlock was able to get down to the finish after starting a leg with two 180 scores. Unfortunately for Whitlock, he then missed the necessary double to produce his second perfect leg.
