Adrian Lewis has been handed a £3000 fine and a three month suspension (suspended for 6 months) for his part in the altercation with Jose Perales in the first UK open qualifying event.

Lewis could be seen to physically grab Perales round the neck following his victory in the Quarter finals, after believing his opponent was trying to provoke him. The incident can be seen here.
The DRA disciplinary committee met on Wednesday 7th to discuss the case. Lewis has been suspended since the event, but should he remain within the laws of the DRA for the next six months, wont miss any further tournaments.
Jackpot will return to action at this weekends second set of Qualifiers. His run to the semi-finals has all but secured his place at the UK open, but he'll be looking to add to his Order of Merit total to ensure his in the top 32, and enters into the third round.
