Cameron Menzies stunned a lot of the darting world with his
brilliant performances at the Grand Slam but he bowed out at the group stage which ‘annoyed’ the plumber from Muirhead. He admits though he has a chance to put that right at
Lakeside.
He pushed Gary Anderson and defeated Simon Whitlock but got caught up with the Berry van Peer story which was his downfall and admits was ‘hard to take’.
Finally he has said it is ‘a dream’ to be part of Tommy Gilmour’s Dunvegan stable. Now he feels like he can ‘step it up a gear’ going into Lakeside.
