Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur feature in the Champions League final on Saturday evening. Live Darts asked some darts players for their predictions.
Michael van Gerwen was one of the players who was asked to do his prediction. The Dutchman firstly said Tottenham has to thank PSV Eindhoven for the final spot. Van Gerwen's favourite football club PSV claimed a draw against Internazionale in the group stage, meaning Spurs went through to the knockout stage.
''It's difficult to call. Just on current form, I think Liverpool will win. But you never know. Harry (Kane) is back and it depends which kind of Son turns up. But I go for 2-1 win for Liverpool'', the world number one said.
Joe Cullen, James Wilson and Mark Webster also think The Reds will win the final with one goal difference. Daryl Gurney and Phil Taylor predict a 3-1 scoreline in favour of the Merseyside club.
Rob Cross and Wayne Mardle are predicting the Spurs to win the Champons League. James Wade refused to do a prediction. ''I don't like football and have no idea who will win, but it's good that two English teams are in the final I guess.''
