England & Netherlands claim Six Nations Cup titles in Selsey

The Six Nations Cup has come to its conclusion in Selsey with England and Netherlands claiming the ladies and men’s titles respectively. There was also wins for Fallon Sherrock (England) & Jim Williams (Wales) in the charity singles.

Firstly in terms of the Netherlands route through to Six Nations Cup glory; they defeated England 13-12 in a game that went down to Scott Mitchell vs Willem Mandigers with Willem victorious.
Northern Ireland captained by Kyle McKinstry and also including Chris Gilliland who appeared at the Lakeside in the last edition came through against Wales 13-12. They had all the chance to win the title with them defeating Netherlands in the group.
It was a close final with the Dutch side coming out on top 13-11 to claim glory. In terms of the ladies, the final was contested by England and Wales with England just coming out on top.
Wales defeated Netherlands 5-4 in the semi finals while England disposed of Scotland 5-1. The final though like Wales’ semi-final went to the decider with England coming out on top.
Like alluded to, Fallon Sherrock came out on top in the singles defeating Robin Byrne and the money gained from winning that goes to Cancer Research UK. Williams defeated Richard Veenstra in the men’s final.
