It started off with the evergreen Paul Lim who every single time he competes in a
PDC tournament rolls back the years. He defeated
Rob Cross in a stunning win which could have been a main catalyst towards a shock at the
World Cup of Darts. It was a 4-2 victory where 'The Singapore Slinger' averaged 103.5.
Chisnall then faced Harith Lim winning 4-2 but he was pushed to the limit in a game that had huge ramifications. It went to the pairs and Paul Lim lacked his scoring which saw him past Cross; that meant that England could win the match easier than expected.
