The BDO German Open and Masters are set to take place this weekend in a double bill of action.
Entries have been revealed with the likes of Jyhan Artut, Leighton Bennett, Jamie Caven, Darryl Fitton, Andy Hamilton, Ross Montgomery, Wes Newton and current Open champion Scott Mitchell involved. The Masters Champion is Scott Baker who is not involved due to his move over to the PDC recently. Lisa Ashton, Aileen de Graaf, Anastasia Dobromyslova, Corrine Hammond, Deta Hedman, Fallon Sherrock and Lorraine Winstanley are among the top ladies in action. to view the entries for the tournament. - Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention.
