Daryl Gurney claimed a third straight win over Michael van Gerwen and a second in this year’s Premier League on Thursday night in Manchester.
Gurney spoke afterwards and admitted it means a lot to beat him again; as well as that what’s changed is that he’s not scared of Mighty Mike anymore. "Michael's the best player in the world so it means a lot to me to beat him again," said Gurney. "To beat him twice in one season is a nice record to have. "I don't panic any more against him now, where I maybe tried too hard to beat him in recent years. I needed to get something out of the game and luckily I came away with the two points. "If I can go into my next two games with the same temperament I could win them, and if I can get into the top four I will be very happy." for more information about the Premier League Darts, including all the fixtures and the prize fund breakdown.
