Gurney, Aspinall and Kanik through to final day at Austrian Darts Open

Daryl Gurney, Nathan Aspinall and Tytus Kanik are the latest players through to the final day of action at the Austrian Darts Open.

Gurney broke the curse of seeded players by seeing off Boris Koltsov with ease in a 6-2 win. This was despite him averaging less than his opponent at 92 compared to 93. Aspinall was impressive once again though with him sealing a 6-4 victory with a 143 checkout. He saw off Dave Chisnall with both players averaging around the 100 mark. The performance also included two 180’s. Kanik knocked out defending champion Jonny Clayton to continue his good form with the Polish ace winning 6-2 with an 88 average meaning only one seed had made it through so far.
