Gurney sets up clash with Wright after whitewash victory over Van den Bergh

Daryl Gurney and Peter Wright will face off in the last confirmed Quarter-Final after victories over Dimitri van den Bergh and Ross Smith respectively.

Gurney claimed a shock whitewash win over the Belgian with ‘Superchin’ continuing where he left off on Thursday night in the Premier League. He hit 54 percent of his doubles which was seemingly the difference between the players. His highest checkout along the way was 124 and he could be a force to be reckoned with this evening. Wright also a great time on the doubles hitting 75 percent as well as a 101 average in his 6-3 win over Smith.
