Steve Hine is the first man to hit a 9-darter this weekend. 'The Muffin Man' found perfection in a 6-4 defeat to John Henderson today at Players Championship 6 in Milton Keynes.
The Coventry native has found a little bit of a resurgence as of late. The highlight being defeating Peter Wright at the Players Championship Finals last year.
This is as well a landmark moment for Hine with this being his first 9-darter in PDC darts having not hit one in his 14 years to date with them. He still went on to lose to John Henderson though who is in good form and is a tricky opponent.
At least for 'The Muffin Man' it is something to take away from the weekend of Pro Tour action in Milton Keynes.
