John Henderson pulled off one of the biggest shocks so far in this year's World Championship. The Highlander defeated the number 4 seed and one of the main favourites for the title in Daryl Gurney.
He ended up winning 4-2 and has Rob Cross next in his sights after gaining a measure of revenge over Superchin after he denied the Scotsman his first major final at the World Grand Prix in September and he admitted that it was nerve wracking but he is so relieved to be through.
"It was very nerve-wracking at the end I must admit," said Henderson. "I thought I let a lot of doubles slip early doors to take advantage but Daryl fought back.
"I'm so relieved to get the win as I was shaking! I was feeling the heat up there tonight so to get through that means everything to me."
