Adrian Lewis and Michael Smith broke a record during their first round match at the World Grand Prix. They scored thirteen maximum scores together during their qualify affair.

That was considerably higher than the old record, which was equaled earlier on Monday evening. The old record stood at ten 180's in the first round of the World Grand Prix.
This number was reached three times. Firstly by Mark Dudbridge and Dennis Ovens in 2009. Joe Cullen and Darren Webster did this again in 2017 and the same happened Monday during the match between Ian White and Josh Payne.
Lewis and Smith strengthened the record with three more maximum scores. 'Jackpot' hit seven of them, while 'Bullyboy' hit the remaining six.
