Mensur Suljovic is in the form of his life having won his first TV tournament and first Pro Tour this year after his Euro Tour success and is now aiming for the World crown and he will be in the third round at the Alexandra Palace having defeated Robert Thornton.
Now when the darts returns he will face a stablemate and friend Dimitri van den Bergh and he admitted after his win it is a perfect feeling to get through and lauded the crowd with praise.
"It's a perfect feeling," said Suljovic. "It was a very hard game.
"Robert played well, every time he missed he came back stronger - it was a hard game.
"I'm happy to go through. In the first round I was very nervous but in the second round I was feeling good so everything is OK. This crowd is brilliant here."
