Either Mensur Suljovic or Raymond van Barneveld will contest the Masters 2018 final.

The Austrian sealed a semi-final meeting with Barney after a 10-8 victory over Rob Cross. Suljovic was broken twice in the early stages, but each time bounced back in style. Finishes of 120 and 121 meant Cross could not capitalise on throw.
The world champion was 5-3 up, but the Gentle rattled off five legs on the spin to take control. A 112 checkout was the highlight, as Suljovic developed a ruthless streak on the doubles. Cross, by contrast, missed a host of darts at doubles. Suljovic struck his first and only maximum in the 16th leg, as he took a 9-7 advantage. Cross forced the Champions League 2017 champion to hold throw and win. He did just that, checking out 136 to reach the semi-finals for the first time.
