Michael van Gerwen makes up half of the top averages at the Grand Slam of Darts

Michael van Gerwen's win at the Grand Slam of Darts 2017 made an astonishing 3 in a row, only achieved by Phil Taylor but that isn't the only astonishing stat that has been thrown up in his win and that is he had 5/10 of the top averages. Gary Anderson was the top player average wise with him also figuring at 4th place on the list. Also on the list is one of the BDO representatives Glen Durrant, Mensur Suljovic, Rob Cross and Michael Smith.

It shows the men currently in form at the minute with the likes of Cross and Van Gerwen in particular seemingly playing some of the best darts in the world as the World Championship draws ever close.
