Michael van Gerwen has won 2 in a row in Wigan at the UK Open Qualifiers defeating Darren Webster with another quality display from the World Number One. It was imperious for 'Mighty Mike' who despite having play suspended half way through won 6-3.

This happened when Darren Webster appeared to either drop his dart or that it fell out of the board which triggered Michael van Gerwen to question the decision when it was a 140 that could of changed the course of the leg. The tournament director became involved and allowed the decision to stand.
This didn't effect Van Gerwen though who has now won his 100th senior title in the PDC and unless he withdraws from tomorrow, it is seemingly likely he could take the title once again.
It was a good day for Webster who is knocking on the door of the World's Top 16 and could even be in England's World Cup team this year.
Final
Darren Webster 3 | 6 Michael van Gerwen
