Minutes applause planned for Bristow at tomorrow’s Premier League

Eric Bristow passed away last Thursday and tomorrow night there will be a minutes applause for the Crafty Cockney as the darting world continues to remember one of the greatest.
This will take place as part of the Premier League in a bumper night of action but fans will have to be there at their seats by 7:05pm to pay their tributes to Bristow before the darts begins.
There have been minutes applauses at darting events this past weekend including the BDO British Internationals as well as the PDC ProTour. This will continue tomorrow night in Sheffield.

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
