In a table drawn up by Burton deWitt, Unicorn lead the darts manufacturers with a commanding lead over XQMax who of course produce the darts of Michael van Gerwen.
At the moment, the manufacturer that produces darts for the likes of Michael Smith, James Wade and Gary Anderson have 166 points but this is at the early stage of the year with there more points on offer for major tournaments and the World Championship.
Unicorn though have 166 points with 104 of them coming through the floor tournaments compared to XQMax who have 91 with most of their points of course coming through 'Mighty Mike'.
Target who produce darts for the likes of Rob Cross and Corey Cadby follow that with 88, Red Dragon are 4th with 78, having the likes of Peter Wright and Jamie Hughes as part of their company.

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
