Phil Taylor will bow out of professional darts at the end of this year and has one more event and one final challenge and that is the World Championship, Taylor is a 16x champion in the event and like with the World Matchplay, Taylor will want a final magical run to a 17th come the start of January at the Alexandra Palace. He spoke ahead of it about his fantastic year and how he will be able to massively enjoy himself as there is no pressure on him but of course he wants a good run. "It's been a fantastic year and I've enjoyed it so much and to end it I'd love to go and have a good run at the World Championship," said Taylor. "Winning it would obviously be the best way to go out, but I'll just go there to enjoy it and do my best. "There's been no pressure on me this year, I've not been worried about rankings of things like that, so I've been able to enjoy myself a bit more."
