Players Championship 4 results, Last 128: Wright and Gurney among players out early in Barnsley

Among those who are out early include Peter Wright. 'Snakebite' who made it to yesterday's final faced a tricky opponent in Danny Noppert who averaged 100 in a 6-2 victory over the World Number 2 as the Players Championship continues.
Daryl Gurney was also out early. He lost to another tricky opponent in Simon Stevenson with 'The Mirror Man' living up to his billing as one of the most dangerous players on the floor.
There were also losses for the likes of Benito van de Pas who went down to Ross Smith and Ian White who lost to the in-form Matthew Edgar who came back from seemingly a losing position to beat the 'Diamond'.

Finally Simon Whitlock is also out with the Wizard losing 6-5 to Alan Tabern. This means more disappointment for the Australian.
