‘Pipes’ will be back on the PDC stage in a few short weeks to team with Darin Young for the USA and speaking recently to Tom Beresford, he cannot wait to represent his country.
‘I’m excited to play for Team USA and represent my country,’ said Puleo.
‘I was actually 14 points down going into the final event in Philadelphia and so my objective was much different to Darin’s when you have the lead and you’re defending it you want to do what you have to do and the rest is up to me.’
‘I think having that experience. I went over to Q-School and I played in the Challenge Tour so just playing in those environments that much skill level makes you play better’
‘As far as the World Cup goes, doubles is a little bit different, were all rhythm players so it’s tough to throw every fourth throw but on the other side is you’re playing for your country so it’s that survival mentality. I’m a humble person so fighting for my country is easier than doing it for me.’
