There has been wins for
Ross Montgomery and Corrine Hammond at the
BDO British Open to end the weekend at The Spa in Bridlington with the British Classic also on the Saturday.
Ross won his second title of the weekend after taking home the pairs title with Scott Mitchell on Friday and had to defeat defending champion Cameron Menzies in a deciding leg win who had previously taken out Glen Durrant and in the case of Ross he had to take out Conan Whitehead.
Corrine Hammond the former World Championship finalist defeated a former World Champion in Anastasia Dobromyslova 5-3 to win her 2nd title of the year which was pretty good considering she was 3-0 down in a race to 4 in her semi final while Anastasia won 4-1 in hers but it was the Aussie who prevailed in the final ahead of next weeks' Winmau World Masters.
