'Snakebite' Peter Wright, the world number 3 spoke to RadioNZ before this weekends Auckland Darts Masters about a variety of topics including retiring darting legend Phil Taylor and the UK Open Champion thinks that 'no one is ever going to replace' the 16th time champion of the world. "He's the best and it's great to play against him still. "We're definitely going to miss him and no one is ever going to replace him," he said. He also said to complete his unique look on match nights which takes him from normal person to Snakebite, it could take anywhere between 90 minutes and 4 hours depending on what he wanted painted on the side of his head.

Like Taylor, Wright enjoys the knowledgeable crowds who flock to the Oceanic tour events and looking forward to getting back in front of them.
Wright has twice got to the quarter-finals here, so this year he would be looking to go all the way and his form this year shows that it could happen
"I'm playing a lot better this year, I've won nine tournaments this year, so hopefully I'll make it 10. That's the plan," he said.
