Suzuki first player through to Ladies final and Waites edges past Whitehead

Mikuru Suzuki is the first player through to the final in the Ladies draw and Scott Waites edged past Conan Whitehead to end Friday’s afternoon session at Lakeside.

Suzuki saw off Maria O’Brien with a 76 average. She hit a highest checkout of 106 with one 180 on her way to the victory. She will face either Lorraine Winstanley or Anastasia Dobromyslova in the final. Waites on the other hand in his win over Whitehead with a 96 average with eight maximums along the way. As well it was three ton plus checkouts with 100, 101 and 142, this was despite Conan coming back towards the end but Waites pulled away again to win. for more information about the 2019 BDO Lakeside World Championship.
