Dartsnews' Premier League Darts VIP Prediction Competition returns this season, after the inaugural edition being held last year. Sky Sports presenter Laure James managed to win the league after sixteen exciting weeks.
Several darts experts will meet in our VIP Prediction Competition during the Premier League Darts 2019. A league of twelve, comprising of players, analysts and journalists will take part.
The rules are very simple. Every Premier League Darts week, they will predict the results of that week's play. Choosing the right winner will yield one point, while predicting a correct scoreline earns them two. There is no Judgement Night for our twelve predictors. However, they will all play along until the play-offs at the O2 Arena in London on Thursday 23 May.
Whoever has collected the most points after play concludes will be the first VIP prediction competition champion. The twelve entrants will be announced over the next few weeks ahead of the first night in Newcastle on February 7.
Ricky Evans first player to join line-up
Dartsnews' journalists Samuel Gill and Pieter Verbeek take on ten players and analysts during the Premier League Darts Prediction Competition.
Ricky Evans is the first player to join the line-up. The Kettering Ace and made his debut at the World Grand Prix and European Championship. 'Rapid Ricky' gets the chance to be involved around the Premier League from the sideline this year and will be looking to become one of the stars in the next few years.
