Danny Noppert

As well as the World Matchplay, another race currently taking place is the one to the World Grand Prix. Granted it is a while to the cut off but with minimum money added it seems likely that Danny Noppert could be making his debut in Dublin.

'Noppie' is a recent switcher from the BDO and has had some good success in his relatively short time as a PDC player. If Noppert continues his good form he will be part of the sixteen Pro Tour players at the World Grand Prix.
Also joining him could be the likes of Josh Payne, Steve Lennon, Chris Dobey & Jeffrey de Zwaan who could also be debutants at the event. At the moment Dave Chisnall is the final seed tentatively for the event but will have pressure from Michael Smith & James Wade who will want to overtake him.
Alan Norris and Joe Cullen are the final tentatively qualified players which could mean that Jelle Klaasen in particular misses out on the double start event in September.
