Van de Pas on late callup to Players Championship Finals: ‘I need to make the most of it’

Benito van de Pas hasn’t had the best time of it as of late with the Dutchman losing form but he has been handed an opportunity at the Players Championship Finals.

Van de Pas replaces Mensur Suljovic in the tournament after ‘The Gentle’ had to withdraw for family reasons. 'Big Ben' is delighted with this chance and will try to make the most of this opportunity. He said: “I’m obviously delighted with the opportunity. It’s not the circumstances that I would have wanted but I need to make the most of it. “I’ve had some good wins in the Players Championships in the past so I hope that can continue. As usual I will give it everything I’ve got. “Keegan played very well in the Grand Slam last weekend so it will be tough. But I’m ready to face anyone and I believe I can produce a good run of wins.”
