Michael van Gerwen leads the European Tour Order of Merit after the first event with MVG claiming glory in Leverkusen.
He is ahead of fellow finalist Rob Cross and due to the prize fund, Van Gerwen has already opened a £15,000 gap on him.
Mensur Suljovic, Peter Wright, Daryl Gurney and Justin Pipe round out the top five with places on offer for the European Championship at the end of the year.
